KidZania to open at The Curve, Petaling Jaya soon!!!!

Wowieee...sometimes I say this to myself.."Malaysia..not bad at all" .Put aside on our most famous KLCC, Jalan Bukit Bintang, those glamorous shopping malls and hang out areas in Bangsar, our hot sizzling delicious eatery places, natural beauty of Mount Kinabalu, Pulau Sipadan, Pulau Perhentian and all the beautiful places to visit in Malaysia, Im thankful that Malaysia now had her eyes wide open to others too which may look so little but yet an important thing. Our future generations.Playing is a successful way to guarantee that children develop a positive attitude towards learning. Children will use that learning experience and apply it subsequently in their daily life. Ah cut the crab!!!Straight to KidZania lah...

The model of KidZania at The Curve

As I was blog-hopping this morning, I came across a page blogging about Kidzania which is planned to be open in January 2012. This RM50 million project, jointly developed by Khazanah and Boustead Group of Malaysia,is constructing an educational theme park specially designed for kids is going to operate its service at about 80,000 sf area, on the 6th and 7th floors of a seven-storey mall called Curve NX. This is located at the junction corner of IKEA (at the traffic light as you enter for IKEA basement parking lots). For the locals, it was where the former McDonald's building used to be. It will also be connected to the Curve Shopping Mall via a Sky Bridge. Jadinya, tidak perlu berpeluh ketiak ye mak..

A little something about Kidzania. It started back in 1999 in Mexico where it first stared. It then, branched out to other cities such as Tokyo and Jakarta. It sure is the talk of towns. Unlike traditional theme parks, there are no arcade games and no rides.Instead, this is a place where kids actually role-play adult activities in a replica of real cities, complete with shops, streets and buildings made, run and designed by kids to simulate real-life and a functioning economy.

Cool stuff at Kidzania :
  • Security bracelets will be provided for visitors to trace the location of their children while in here.
  • Learning the value of money as kids will be paying for items and services with the local KidZania Currency called KidZos.
  • Children learn  about the adult world by getting involved in over 100 role-playing activities.
  • Over 100 occupations such as pilots, firemen, policemen, chefs, surgeons and more for kids to experience.
  • Kids will experience opening a real bank account and receiving cash cards that can be used at ATM's in KidZania.
  • Each child can role-play and choose to become a CIMB customer, Honda F1 driver, AirAsia pilot or cabin crew, NST reporter, Media Prima TV presenter or work for Pos Laju.
Participating in the sponsorship of KidZania Kuala Lumpur are:
Honda Malaysia, AirAsia, New Straits Times Press, CIMB Group and Pos Malaysia. You may also send in your proposals to be their marketing partnership.
